England National Finals 2005

The ELFA National was held on Sunday 28th August at Eyebrook Reservoir. 18 ladies battled it out on a warm but windy day for the privilege of being selected for the 2006 England Flyfishing Team. The fish had been raising on the Saturday but unfortunately decided otherwise on the Sunday. The wind pushed the fish down which made catching harder, that said 58 fish were caught for a weight of 87Ibs 3ozs. The Eyebrook team made the day memorable and the evening meal was excellent, provided by a catering company—well done Sheena for finding them.

1st -: Janice Pinder 8 fish for 17Ibs 4 5/8 ozs (4Ibs time bonus)

2nd -: Jayne Alecock 7 fish for 10Ibs 7 3/8 ozs

3rd -: Sue Hunter 6 fish for 8Ibs 11 5/8 ozs

4th -: Jaqueta Hamilton 4 fish for 7Ibs 7 7/8 ozs

5th -: Maggie Godwin 5 fish for 6 14 5/8 ozs

6th -: Wendy Miller 5 fish for 6 12 ozs

7th -: Sue Sissons 4 fish for 5 11 3/8 ozs

8th -: Tracy Rathbone 4 fish for 4 13 1/4 ozs

9th-: Hilary Tomlinson 3 fish for 4 10 1/4 ozs

10th -: Stevie Raynor 2 fish for 4 8 1/8 ozs

11th -: Eileen Chatwin 3 fish for 3 9 1/4 ozs

12th -: Sue Shaw 2 fish for 14 1/4 ozs

13th -: Jane Percy 2 fish for 2 13 1/8 ozs
