Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland

In April 2006 the England Ladies Flyfishing Association, in partnership with the Countryside Alliance, announced the launch of Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland.  World-famous fly-fishing retailer Orvis UK generously supplied the equipment and clothing needed to run the retreats.

The first Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland retreat took place at Duncton Mill in West Sussex between 17th - 19th September 2007.  The retreat was a great success and details will be posted on the CFR UK & Ireland website shortly.

Casting for Recovery – UK & Ireland organises weekend fly fishing retreats for small groups of women with breast cancer with a view to providing a life-enhancing, experience by way of emotional and psychological support, education and relaxation.
