Wendy
Miller - Chair/Pro-Tem Treasurer
|
|
Wendy, has
been an active ELFA committee member since the Association was born;
playing a major role in gaining autonomy for the Association whilst
retaining the association's voice in organisations such as the CEFF.
She has held many posts during that time and was elected Chair in
the spring of 2001. Wendy lives in Fenland and is an
accountant. She started fly fishing in 1980 and was National Champion in 2006 |

Mary Hopper - Vice-Chair |
|
During
her many years on the ELFA committee Mary has held a variety of
posts. Twice International champion Mary's real passion is for
fishing Lough Corrib in Ireland. When not fishing Mary's other
major interest is her two jack russell terriers who frequently
accompany her when she's boat fishing on her local water, Bewl in
Kent |

Sue
Hunter - Secretary/CFR UK & Ireland Programme Co-ordinator

|
Sue
joined the Committee in 2003 and took up the position of Secretary
in 2007. Her favourite places to fish are Bewl Water, Grafham
Water & the Western Loughs of Ireland. As Programme
Co-ordinator for Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland Sue is committed
to exploring the therapeutic value of fly fishing and to making the organisation
as successful as CFR in US and Canada |

Susan Sissons - Sponsorship Secretary |

Susan
has
been a committee member since 1999 and says that she has had such a
good time with the association that the time has flown by!
Susan, a GAIA level II angling coach was recently invited to join
the Hardy and Greys Academy of instructors. Susan says, "It is
great to see new people join the association and to introduce new
people to angling." |

Sue Shaw - Press Officer |

As
Press Officer for the association Sue aims to get as much publicity
for ELFA and its members as possible. Sue is also responsible
for organising ELFA's presence at shows and events all over the
country. As a Sales Manager for Total Flyfisher magazine Sue
is able
to combine her hobby with her work. She will use her GAIA Level
II
coaching qualification to assist at the CFR UK & Ireland retreats |

Sheena Goode - Membership Secretary |

Sheena
joined ELFA in 2002 She lives in Solihull, West Midlands,
but whilst holidaying in Wales that she was introduced to
fly-fishing. River fishing was her first love but she now also
fishes boat and bank. In 2007 Sheena gained her first England
Cap. As well as being Membership Secretary, Sheena has capably
organised the National Loch-Style Championship for the last 4 years |

Paul Miller - International
Loch-Style Team Manager |

Paul
has been managing the loch-style team for seven years and has guided
the team through many wins during that time. Although Paul no
longer fishes competitively as a former member of the England team
he can claim the distinction of winning gold in the World
Championships in his competitive career. Paul, a GAIA level II
coach is the resident instructor at Bewl Water in Kent |

Paul Sissons - European Team Manager |

Paul
joined the committee in 2004 as European Coordinator to organise the
England Ladies trip to Sweden for the European Fly Fishing
Championships in 2004. He now holds the post of Rivers Team Manager. Paul has been fishing for 11 years and is a GAIA level II
angling coach |

Louise Callow - Joint

Louise
joined ELFA in 2005. Two years later she became a member
of the ELFA and also gained her first International Cap. She has
fished since the age of six and discovered fly fishing 14 years ago.
She hasn't coarse fished since! In real life she is Co-Director of a
successful theatre production company. Her favourite and closest
water is Grafham |

Martha Thomson -

Martha
joined the committee in 2007 and says the she sees ELFA more as a
big family than an organisation. Colombian by birth Martha was
formerly a ballet dancer at the University of Arts in Bogota.
She says that perfection is her principal and she applies that to
her fishing. When she's not fishing for either pleasure or
competitively Martha's passion is life is her three cats and Salsa
dancing |

Jacqueta Hamilton

Jacqueta
has been with the committee for three years. Her local water
is Grafham and she enjoys fishing both for pleasure and
competitively. When Jacqueta isn't fishing her hobbies are
gardening and breeding rare breed poultry |
